El encuentro tendrá lugar a las 18h. en la Biblioteca Municipal de El Escorial y serán leídos por Edgar Wibe en inglés y español, aunque será un acto abierto a todos aquellos que quieran contribuir con una lectura.

Las altas colinas, las cuestas,
de estadísticas
están ante nosotros.
la subida escarpada
de todo, sube,
sube, mientras todos nosotros
bajamos.
El siglo que viene
o el siguiente,
dicen,
habrá valles, pastos,
nos podemos encontrar allí en paz
si llegamos.
Para subir estas cumbres venideras
una palabra para ti, para
ti y para tus hijos;

aprended las flores

The rising hills, the slopes,
of statistics
lie before us.
the steep climb
of everything, going up,
up, as we all
go down.
In the next century
or the one beyond that,
they say,
are valleys, pastures,
we can meet there in peace
if we make it.
To climb these coming crests
one word to you, to
you and your children:
stay together
learn the flowers
go light
